We're Giving Things Away

It's contest time again this week at Baristanet, and this time we're focusing on two fundraisers in Glen Ridge. We'll be giving away three sets of tickets to the Music & Magic Together show coming up next Sunday, featuring RockRoots and the Magician Great Scott. This is a benefit for the Glen Ridge Community Fund (which has generously provided the tickets for Baristanet readers), so go out and support the show whether you win or not!

Tickets We've also ordered three quarts of home-made chili, as part of the fundraiser for Glen Ridge Project Graduation. The chili pick-up is Thursday night at the Glen Ridge Train Station, so one lucky Baristaville family won't have to cook that night.

Here's how this contest works. We want our readers to spend more time on our inside pages: Food, Thrills and At Home. Three times this week, we'll put up a brief post on the Thrills page, announcing the ticket giveaway for Music & Magic Together. If you click through and see the announcement, e-mail us right away. The first person each time will win two tickets (and have their choice of either the 1 or 4 pm shows).

While you're on Thrills, check out the dozens of fabulous entertainment listings we've gathered.

To win the chili, go to our Food page. Right now, we have a review up of Little Saigon, the Vietnamese restaurant formerly based in Nutley. But some time in the next few days, we'll be announcing the chili give-away. If you're lucky enough to click through while it's up, e-mail us fast.

Good luck. Click early and often.

We Have A Winner

Thanks for all who played, but you can stop hunting. Anne-Marie Nolin of Montclair was the first reader to get all three locations correct. Nolin was so into the contest, she checked on us after midnight to make sure we didn't post the last clue in the wee hours. While other readers might have thought our game was for the birds, eagle-eyed Nolin had no trouble finding our feathered friends. For those who are still curious...

1. 100 Warren Street

2. South Park Street above D. Marie

3. Valley Road next to Photo Cullen

Let The Games Begin

Time for our third clue and your chance to win $50 towards dinner at any of the restaurants participating in Project Graduation. Just so we're clear, the winning entry must be accompanied by a real name and e-mail address. The winner must also select a restaurant; we'll meet you there and hand over your dough. When you've identified all three clues; click here to enter. Good luck!

Win Free Grub!

In support of Project Graduation, Montclair High School's saner alternative to all those underage drinking parties, Baristanet would like to treat one of our readers to dinner this Thursday night at any of the restaurants contributing to the event (winner's choice). We'll give $50 to the first Barista reader who correctly identifies three locations in Baristaville (or the reader who gets the most answers correct). Our first Barista scavenger hunt starts in Montclair with clue #1...

Wildbirds

Where do these birds live? (street address with house number)

Check back for clue #2 tomorrow and the final third clue on Wednesday, when we start accepting answers. Good luck!
