...serving up your daily dish.
Mountainside Hospital will be the scene of a public demonstration tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) at 4 pm, as Community Friends of Mountainside Hospital beckons the troops for a "Save Mountainside Hospital" support rally.
Doctors, nurses and employees and members of the community are urged to attend -- and, to make it good for the cameras, to wear scrubs, white doctor coats or work clothes.
May 12 is the deadline for suitors to step up and bid for the troubled hospital, now part of Atlantic Health Systems.
Will postcards be involved? (I hope so if there is to be any hope for success)

I wonder if anyone 'Historic' has been treated there?

Interesting. What are "work clothes" in Baristaville, and do they then help define their wearers? Does lasermikey, for example, wear a hair shirt? Will Walleroo be there in pouch and tucker and a slouch hat with one side pinned up, like Chips Rafferty used to wear?

The postcards and rallys worked, one rebel group has signed a peace plan. It is a first step , but a positive one. There is still a long way to go, but the people who wanted to be heard were and they did make a difference.

It did, hrh! Wow. Must have been all the bags the rebels had to carry full of postcards.
Whew! Problem solved. Bravo! Time to free Tibet?

I have an Australian bush hat if Walleroo would like to borrow it. Actually it's a New Zealand bush hat.

cathar,
work clothes are the clothes that you work in. get it?
work clothes for dr's nurses and hospital staff are different than those for day laborers.

Cathar(dumbass),
Man, you have a small personality. Were you the bully or bullied in grade school. My guess is you got your butt kicked at the play ground.

Thanks Ms. Barista. I will try top make it. I, for one, would hate to loose another hospital.
Stan, dig up another ten spot and send the $20.00 to

can i get the troll feet combed and groomed at mountainside?
Posted by: Iceman | May 8, 2006 7:20:28 PM
Oh lasermikey, as ever, I cringe before your wit. Still, "dumbass" doesn't have quite the same bite as "war crimes collaborator" or "war criminal." You were better last week.
In so many ways, I'd bet. Your decline is obvious and rapid.
And 'p'ant, what do you wear at work? "Scrubs" because you scrub pots and pans somewhere? Cement-stained Red Ball work boots and overalls because you shape up as a day laborer? Or do you and lasermikey merely swap hairshirts?
Posted by: cathar | May 8, 2006 7:22:11 PM
Cathar,
Where can I get one of those hair shirts?
Your brother,
lasermikey

Hair shirt... doesn't sound fun. I'll stick with cotton.

Read these comments. That's why you can't have an intelligent conversation here. I guess no one else will have them. Oh well ...

This blog needs a code of conduct. I think a digg like voting system would be a good idea too. We need turn down the inflammatory and stupid comments.

maybe a "brown " outfit or a corrections dept uniform (i'm sure you love your job).
oh now i've got it you're the GOOD HUMOR MAN!
