Dancing The Night Away At Glenfield School

Jazz, Pas de Deux, Hip Hop, Flamenco, Swing, and more - you can see it all - performed by Glenfield School's talented sixth, seventh, and eigth graders at the Spring Dance Show. The kids will be dancing and bopping, jiving, jumping and swirling on stage this Friday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. Guest choreographers, Glenfield alumnae, have contributed to this electric, energizing, eclectic evening of dance. 25 Maple Avenue, Montclair. 973-509-4171. Seriously, these kids are great, wonderful, stupendous, terrific and amazing. God loves them, and so do I.

Hey, isn't this the same school that's been in the news for a couple of scary moments recently? Nice to see there's some good stuff going on at the same time. Maybe Glenfield's not totally gone to the dogs!

Yes, it is, and their arts program in general, and dance in particular, is quite magnificent.

The dance and theater programs are good at Hillside, but they get way too much attention. (But I'm not critising the kids, who are wonderful, stupendous, terrific and amazing, God love them, amen.)

Wow, it looks like some real talent. Montclair actually has a PUBLIC middle school that teaches Pas de Deux and Swing??

Obviously, there are some great qualities to Glenfield School. This is great exposure for these teens.
