...serving up your daily dish.
We were all shocked and deeply saddened yesterday to hear of the unexpected death of Lisa Strobert, a Language Arts teacher at Mount Hebron School since 1994. Confirmation of the devastating news came in a letter from Mark A. Jennings, principal at Mount Hebron, who also said: "During her tenure, she distinguished herself as an excellent teacher who cared about her students. As additional information is learned, we will inform you." Baristanet extends our deepest sympathy to Ms. Strobert's family.
Ms. Strobert was my Language Arts teacher while I was a student at Mount Hebron. Although I haven't seen or spoken to her in seven or eight years I will always remember what a great, nurturing person she was. Everyone has their favorite teachers, she was definitely one of mine. Please post any other information regarding Ms. Strobert if you get it. You are my one and only source, Barista.

My heart goes out to those kids at Mt. Hebron, who have had a lot to deal with lately.

I've been told there is a viewing from 4-6 pm today at the Reformed Church, 59 Hamburg Tpke, Pompton Lakes, with the funeral to follow.
