Already fixed.

I wondered if I'd misread - you're fast!

Posted by: max | Feb 14, 2006 4:25:31 PM

At last, a perhaps appropriate thread for this:

Our Barista may be to modest to hype this, so please allow me to call everyone's attention to the huge sign at the corner of Bloomfield & Ridgewood, announcing that one Debra Galant will be giving a reading from her new novel at the Glen Ridge Women's Club on March 2.

It's really quite an impressive sign. Check it out, & watch out for speeders!

Posted by: crank | Feb 14, 2006 4:25:42 PM

Ok, Crank, since you insist:
Here it is.

When does Rattled come out? I know you can probably pre-order from Amazon, but I'd rather buy local. I read the first paragraph on-line awhile ago and enjoyed it.

Posted by: talliewoo | Feb 14, 2006 5:10:53 PM

Next week. And plenty of local readings, with books from local booksellers for sale.

Posted by: The Barista | Feb 14, 2006 5:25:06 PM

Too cool.

Can I come to the reading if I wear my best frock?

Posted by: crank | Feb 14, 2006 5:25:40 PM

You can even come in your worst frock.

Posted by: The Barista | Feb 14, 2006 5:27:09 PM

Excellent. That simplifies things.

Posted by: crank | Feb 14, 2006 6:12:20 PM

Madam Barista,
Are Trolls allowed to attend if they comb their feet?

Posted by: The Iceman (Trollidarity) | Feb 14, 2006 7:09:37 PM

Trollfrocks mandatory, I hear, but otherwise you'll be fine.

Posted by: crank | Feb 14, 2006 7:24:02 PM

wait, woah there!! crank is a girl????

Posted by: Daniella | Feb 14, 2006 9:12:37 PM

Or a priest?

Posted by: Conan the Grammarian | Feb 14, 2006 9:34:34 PM

The thing that struck me about the sign was that I could actually read it while I was stopped at the intersection. I am always amazed that organizations put up signs that I could only possibly read if I parked my car and walked up to the sign - which I am not likely to do.

or just a guy who has no problem wearing a frock:)

Posted by: cstarling | Feb 15, 2006 7:24:55 AM

Hey, it's a women's club, I figured I had to observe certain rules of decorum if I wanted to get in.

Besides, I look better in a dress than John Cleese ever did.
