It's about freaking time--

Posted by: cstarling | Jan 24, 2006 12:21:05 PM

Really! I need to catch up on the last season as I've totally forgotten what happened!

Posted by: Miss Martta (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 12:24:05 PM

oh man I took a whole class on the Sopranos, got a B and only saw one episode ever. But I would like to watch all 5 seasons so far.

Posted by: katie | Jan 24, 2006 12:35:57 PM

A class on the "Sopranos" ? Please, please tell me you are joking. And if not, you only got a B? Whatever are we to make of this? And on so many levels.

Posted by: Right of Center™ | Jan 24, 2006 12:38:55 PM

Well see, because of my lack of Sopranos knowledge, I was not able to get a higher grade, but I would say a B is pretty good to me if I only ever saw the pilot episode.

Posted by: katie | Jan 24, 2006 1:01:29 PM

I thought i was cool because I took the History of Jazz, taught by Gap and Chuck Mangione at Syracuse. But they actually offer classes in the Sopranos these days?

Posted by: MyManMisterC | Jan 24, 2006 1:15:46 PM

My Man: You went to SU?

Posted by: Miss Martta (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 1:21:52 PM

And I was waiting for the Ides of March!

Posted by: Franklin | Jan 24, 2006 1:37:54 PM

I went to SU too!
I think the Sopranos course is being offered at Montclair State......

Posted by: jan-0 | Jan 24, 2006 2:06:54 PM

Miss Martta<---------went to Middlebury but was graduated from Syracuse.

Posted by: Miss Martta (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 2:11:21 PM

yee-haw! Can't wait for my dose of Carmela and Tony!!!

Posted by: daniella | Jan 24, 2006 2:37:06 PM

I read that Season Six will open with the trial of Johnny Sack.

Posted by: Miss Martta (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 2:43:20 PM

I'm afraid we're mistaken. The Sopranos is not a good TV show because it promotes bad morals.

Posted by: walleroo | Jan 24, 2006 3:00:44 PM

Whether or not "The Sopranos" promotes good or bad morals, walleroo, pales before the question of whether your smartass, graffiti-loving, speedlimit-semi-observing, repressed suburban self wishes to emulate in matters of faith and morals the likes of Silvio and Christopher.

Neither of whom, I remain positive, would have allowed any "alterations" to their own garage walls.

Posted by: cathar (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 3:08:57 PM

Oh, walleroo..."it promotes bad morals." whose morals are you comparing them to? Libs, Conservatives, Trolls?

Posted by: The Iceman (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 3:12:00 PM

Is this young woman going to audition for a job at the 'bing'?

Posted by: RadonMan | Jan 24, 2006 3:15:18 PM

Class of '98. I sat next Donovan McNabb and Olindo Mare in all my Speech Comm classes.

Posted by: MyManMisterC | Jan 24, 2006 3:18:07 PM

'bada bing...bada boom'

Posted by: The Iceman (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 3:19:42 PM

All I see is a life sized Barbie Doll who could use some lunch.

Posted by: cheaplazymom | Jan 24, 2006 3:20:07 PM

"Class of '98"...boy, does THAT make me feel old!

Posted by: Miss Martta (8T) | Jan 24, 2006 3:20:21 PM

especially when you realize that the Class of "98" graduated almost 6 years ago!

Posted by: talliewoo | Jan 24, 2006 3:26:27 PM

I was up there for the height of SUs football heyday. Well at least in recent memory, I am sure the Jim Brown/Ernie Davis administration would beg to differ.

But my Sophmore year listen to this team:

QB - Donovan McNabb
WR - Marvin Harrison
RB - Rob Konrad and Kirby Dar Dar
TE - Roland Williams
K - Olindo Mare
SS - Donovin Darius

All went on to pretty solid pro careers. I have some great stories about intramural basketball playing against these guys.

Ah, cathar, there once again you've put your finger on the nub of the issue. I can only plead guilty.
