In the past few days, we've heard from Hillary, Bill, Jon --and, just to add a little interest, a member of the local Republican party. Who's been jingling your bell? And do you think we'll get a little peace and quiet when today's over?
Hmmm, let's see.
Saturday at 5:00: "Hahyah. This is Bill Clinton.."
Sunday at 7:00: "Hello. This is Jon Corzine."
Monday at 6:30: "Hi, this is John Edwards."

I'll tell you who I have >not< heard from, not one word: My ward's democratic nominee for town council, Robert Chalet. Though a die hard democrat, I'll be voting for Republican Ray today.

Corzine, Nia Gill, Joey D, maybe one from Forrester, but who knows. I don't keep track. I hang up immediately. Unfortunately, they still tie up the line for a few seconds.
I detest these pre-recorded phone calls.

Nobody. Ever since I dropped my land line service completely last year in favor of just cellular service, I get no more annoying calls. I love it so far!

Forrester. And Andrea Forrester. Over and over and over and freaking OVER! If I had had any inclination to vote for him (which I don't) the incessant robo-dialing would have put me right off.

Helllo everybody, You need to embrace these phone calls. Talk back to them. Have a conversation. If you are a fan, tell the caller how much you appreciate all that they've done for you.
If you are not a fan, scream and curse at them. It's really a lot of fun and can be quite theraputic.
