...serving up your daily dish.
Since March 31, Montclair artist Peter Jacobs has made a daily collage out of images and text from his daily newspaper. He aims to produce at least 365. The Collage Journal, presented online using flash animation, is a dreamlike record of the public sphere. It can be seen here.

Peter is a man with a mission.
Some of us clip food coupons for fun Peter clips newspapers.
I read the feature about Peter's current project in the Montclair Times and commend him for his creativeness.
The collages he has created are a reflection of the images of the day ... certainly beats reading the daily headlines of the conflict in Iraq and the escalating body count of military personnel and Iraqi citizens.
Peter clip on -- you're about 120 days away from your goal.
By the way - should I send you some of my recycled newspapers and magazines?

the Cabal:
Thanks for the advice.
However, though I may not be computer sophisticated, I did a google search on Barista for "Art Night" and "Art Night IV" as suggested and to my dismay could not find any reference to the event.
May I suggest/request that the information be re-posted in this thread?
It would be a great way to remind and let Barista readers know the details of the event (date, time, place, etc)
Thanks.
