...serving up your daily dish.
Lots of Happenings in Baristaville this weekend, including the The Goodwill 5000 Meter Run/Walk, this Saturday at the Montclair Art Museum. The 5K race, presented by Goodwill Rescue Mission of Newark, generates funds for the Mission's programs -- to provide food, shelter, and counseling to poor and homeless people.
*Heads up: South Mountain Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7:30 am to approximately 8:45 am.
Registration for the Goodwill 5000 is available on race day from 7:00 a.m.- 8:15 a.m. inside the Art Museum registration hall. The run begins promptly at 8:30 am; a one-mile fun run starts at 8 am. The two-turn course proceeds along South Mountain Avenue, and includes one water station. Participants get custom-designed T-shirts and race bags while supplies last. Bring a can of food to donate to Goodwill Rescue Mission's food bank; for more information, contact Aubrey Blanda

I will be there as a volunteer since I have a long race on Sunday. Chris, are you going to be there, either as a runner or a volunteer?
This is a for a great cause, everyone.

I'll be running the Goodwill, Martta.

I'm running in the Goodwill. Hopefully, they'll keep the street closed long enough for me to finish the race.
