Montclair's Serendipity Cafe is having its 10th birthday tonight. The decade-old student run cafe and open mic, was started back in 1995 and renamed "Terry's Serendipity Cafe" in honor of founding member Terry Bynum- Copeland. From 7-10 pm tonight (no cover, all ages welcome), check out the talent at Montclair High School's amphitheatre. Performers include a long set by cafe alumni Scarecrow Collection, as well as a performance by NJ singer-songwriter Jenny Owen-Youngs and Montclair High School trio ‘The Dogwater Calamity’.  Donations will be accepted for Red Cross’s Hurricane Katrina relief fund, and a portion of the money raised from the Serendipity refreshments will also be donated.
