Yogi Berra may lend his face to just about every good cause in Montclair, but a sex symbol he is not. Especially since he sued Turner Broadcasting Network for $10 million in March for a "Sex and the City" ad campaign that asked "What is a Yogasm?"
The real answer in Yogasm multiple-choice quiz was "what Samantha has with a guy from yoga class" but the answer that incensed our local legend was "sex with Yogi Berra."
Well, according to reports yesterday, the lawsuit was just settled. How much did Yogi get? "A substantial amount," his lawyer said. We're sure Yogi himself could put it better. That, of course, would be a Yogism.
I think what really made Yogi so mad was that the Sex and the City joke was funny.

Despite his fame and fortune, he probably needs the settlement money to help pay his Highland Avenue property taxes ... and maybe to keep his sons comfortable in the years to come ...

Yogi is a family man- do you think he liked the inference that he was having sex with a floozy.
I don'tthink he's ever espoused anything other than family values- why would you think an attack on his reputation was funny?
I didn't think it was funny- looks like he didn't either.
