Funny story,
My brother is doing community services at the Salvation Amry in West Nyack, NY.
A guy comes in to donate stuff, mostly clothes, for Katrina victims. The guy is a being a real jerk to a woman who is trying to help him.
Among his stash is a plastic tree.
My brother turns to the guy and says, "These people have branches coming though their living room windows and you are going to send them a tree? What the Hell are they going to do with that? They got all the trees they can handle. If you want to donate a chainsaw that's more appropriate, but this is the Salvation Army, not the town dump!"
