Gotta Dance!

Chicks dig guys who can dance. It's a fact. We've just learned that Sharon Miller Academy for Performing Arts is finally offering hip-hop classes for younger boys (ages 5-7). Only a few have signed up (my loose-limbed boy soon to be among the other trailblazers), but we'd like to see the class fill out and get funky. If you're interested in signing up and ensuring that your son, whether he's got a natural groove or two left feet, will go on to be a chick magnet for years to come, it's Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30.

i think dance class for boys is great-they love to dance when their little then one day someone comes along (usually a male peer who doesn't know how or a homophobic father) and screws it up for them-

years later they are left suddenly on the dark side of the gym wishing they could...

clarice - get over your lambs, okay? people love to bash many of the contributors here for interpreting real events in shallow and one-dimensional terms. with that post, you are applying the same gloom-and-doom to what might happen in the future. so why bother? might as well take the pipe now.

well then let the boys dance-unfortunately two of my best friends boys were not allowed to attend due to a father's one dimensional thinking.

Didn't mean that to sound like a rave... I'm not saying it doesn't happen - it sure does. Just don't mean it's gonna happen though. In my callow youth, social dancing was mandatory in 3rd or 4th grade. that was about the same time rock and roll was invented, so you know where we learned that: in the streets, along with everything else!
