From sidelinechatter, news of Montclair High's softball team big weekend win. The team made the Essex County finals for first time in the school's history. Amanda Bowers, Rebecca Houston and Meg Mylan (left) celebrated a 3-1 semifinal victory over Livingston on Saturday. Next stop -- the Essex County Tournament championship game to face Caldwell.
So tell us, when and where is the championship game against Caldwell?

Oh, by the way, CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS!
As an aside, I recently told my teenage daughter, who throws a softball harder than I ever could, that she doesn't throw "like a girl." She said, "Yes I do, dad, and it's a compliment."
