...serving up your daily dish.
Who doesn't think that, given Photoshop or a Church Sign Generator, they could come up with a better design for a Montclair logo? This one comes from Montclair blogger Chris Castellani at NJ.com.
Meanwhile local advertising guru Nancy Mehegan has some tweaks...
...based on all the feedback we've getting: O straightened, angel's wings showing. She also sends us a link to a cautionary (and perhaps apocrophal?) tale about a town logo that was over-tweaked.
But this one, designed by the Meyers family in Bloomfield, may be the best.
I'm reminded of a Simpsons episode where Rev. Lovejoy says something like "Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, Hindus, -- we're all Christians"

not so apocryphal. See this: http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/conlaw/republiccomplaint.html

“Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime.” (Author unknown.)
But put a fish on his town's logo and you have introduced him to the ACLU, for which he probably will not thank you. Everybody down there already KNOWS how to fish. They don't need a bunch of damn Yankee liberal lawyers messin' with their bait!
