Speaking of superpowers, this guy -- seen at yesterday's British Country Faire at Edgemont Park -- wasn't just holding onto a tree, he was throwing it. Well, a tree-like object called a caber at any rate. We were kind of hoping for a human chess board or people walking around with turkey drumsticks -- those high-concept things we've seen at Renaissance Faires. There wasn't anything like that, or wenches either, but we did see two men in skirts, three sheep in a pen and little kids getting pony rides around the infield. And of course the "Got Haggis?" and "Got Scotch?" t-shirts.
