Anything that makes shopping more fun, we're all for it. Heard around town: Milk Money, the consignment shop on Church Street, is offering story time on Wednesdays at 10:30 am; Piazza Del Sole, the chic shoe store on Fairfield Street, next to watchung booksellers, puts out refreshments for shoppers (we even heard there is wine on Friday nights). Last but certainly not least, Whole Foods is taking free samples to the next level with "Try This Thursday" a monthly party with a different theme each time. Tomorrow from 4-7 pm it's a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, with chocolate dipped chiles, chorizo, fajitas con pollo, quesadillas, Maraca Margarita Mix, and much more. We'll be checking it out...
If the storytime isn't enough to get you over to Milk Money, there's a little play area for the kids to hang out while you peruse the oodles of used clothing, books, and toys. My daughter didn't want to leave!!
(She also didn't want to leave Piazza Del Sole -- the cookies are delish!)
