The May in Montclair brochures are out. We nabbed one at the Watchung Deli, but you can find them at shops around town. Look for our ad inside as well as the full calendar of May in Montclair events. Also in the book are reproductions of art by Kevin Sacco. The prints, sold at Essex Fine Arts Gallery on South Fullerton, depict street scenes around Montclair. To see Sacco's work big and in color, check out the gallery. I picked up a great, incredibly detailed Watchung Plaza street scene, complete with a pedestrian dodging traffic at that most notorious intersection.

Speaking of notorious intersections, here is one that I find a nightmare to negotiate.
If you are traveling south on Pompton Avenue and have a green light to make the left turn on to Bloomfield Avenue, cars appoaching Bloomfield Ave. from Mt. Prospect also have a green light. So you have two lanes of traffic from Pompton converging on one coming from Mt. Prospect -- all trying to get on to Blooomfield with neither side seeing (or expecting to see) the other.
Is there something here that I am not understanding? It seems very dangerous to me.
To anyone who answers, thanks.
