...serving up your daily dish.
Say what you want about Mayor Remsen. No matter where he stands on anything else, when the anti-caffeine lobby came to him and asked him to declare March Caffeine Awareness Month, he said no.

Ed: Welcome, what can I do for you?
Caffeine Awareness Crusaders: We want to talk to you about Caffeine Awareness Month.
Ed: Good, good. Jolt Cola, anyone?
CAC: No, you see caffeine is bad for you. We have some charts...
Ed: Looks like we're all going to need a cup of coffee if we're doing the powerpoint thing.
CAC: The health of all Americans is affected!
Ed: How about a Red Bull?
CAC: But you see, drinking too much...
Ed: Never before noon, but to each their own; where's that kahlua?
CAC: Think of the children!
Ed: We just feed them sugar. That perks them up.

Ed has drawn line in the coffee grounds. I say Starbucks ought to refill his Coffee Card with at least 100 bucks. Would that be considered a campaign contribution - or an attempt to influence an elected official. The hell with it, I replenish his card myself....I think it's time for a nice cup of joe
