What Do You Call a Town That Charges 50 Cents an Hour to Park?
Bloomfield.
At least that's what we paid in the downtown area the other day. We think this should settle a debate going on today at NJ.com's Bloomfield Forum as to whether Bloomfield is still considered a "blue-collar town."
One person suggests the term "working class" instead. Another says the official designation is "urban." We say any town with the same parking meter rates as Montclair is definitely chi-chi (we're talking definition 4). Besides, you see what plumbers are making these days?
