The Day After
If you could watch only one holiday movie from now until eternity, which would it be:
"It's A Wonderful Life"
"Miracle on 34th Street"
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
"A Charlie Brown Christmas"
"White Christmas"
"Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol"
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"

Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but aren't they "Christmas" movies? =)

The movie I hoped we'd see this Christmas was:

Their landlord has a change of heart and lets the fourty five year old Paper Boutique on Watchung live.

A holiday movie for all eternity? "Groundhog Day," of course!

A modern clasic, "Christmas Story"

Christmas Vacation!

"A Christmas Story" and "A Christmas Carol" are my two favorites. The George C. Scott version of "Carol" is the one I like best, followed by Alistair Sim's.

I really like "While You Were Sleeping"... though it's not a "Christmas" movie, it is set during the week between Christmas & NY Day.

Ditto ... "Sleepless in Seattle"... "You've Got Mail"

An old Brit movie they never run anymore, "The Holly And The Ivy," about a clergyman and his bickering brood. A bit of a wheeze dramatically, but very much in what should be the true spirit of the Christmas season.

Christmas Story, still funny, after all these years. Excelsior!
