Now don't laugh. I bought a container of about 12 ornaments for $1.99 at Amazing Savings (formerly Odd Job) that I love. Actually, I bought three... they're shaped like the old-fashioned large lights we all used to have on our childhood homes and trees. Primary colors, very shiny. Great filler ornaments... three dozen for six bucks? SOLD!
Another good place for ornaments on the cheap: AC Moore.
