Not that we care about this kind of thing, but Ami Cusack, the lesbian barista on CBS's Survivor: Vanuatu "reality" show was voted off the island last night. Or at least on the show that aired last night.
We hate it when baristas get voted off islands. Right of Center, did you have anything to do with this? Well, girl, back to frothing milk. Good luck.
I am not so sure we should *accept* the results of this "vote". What are the results of the recount? Was there any voter intimidation? I heard on a website someplace that 17% of the votes cast were put in the wrong jar and are thus "provisional". That certainly has to be sorted out.
Has Keith Oberman been informed. Does he concur with the vote tally?
Even if she *was* "voted" off (an I am not willing to accept that yet) does it mean anything? Mostly I think it means the other islanders were not smart enough or well informed enough to make an enlightened decision. After all the New York Times and CBS news were not even available on the island!
