It's official. Alliance Repertory Theater of Bloomfield is moving to Montclair. The theater company will move into the 100-seat Montclair Arts Forum at 180 Bloomfield Ave. on Nov. 1, according to a story in the Star-Ledger. (On Sept. 14, we reported that it was going to happen.)
So now it's a wash. Bloomfield picked up a theater company when 12 Miles West moved there (bringing Pushcart Players along with it) from Montclair last month. Now Montclair gets one back with this move.

Is this the great second floor space that was clearly a 40's dance hall and most recently used as a recording studio?
