For the second time, we're hearing valet parking as a panacea to Montclair's parking problems -- this time at the high school. Phil Read reports today that residents of nearby streets, which now serve as spillover parking areas for teachers and others, are demanding enforcement of parking rules there. And town manager Joe Hartnett is talking about valet parking as a solution.
We just reported last week that Montclair is planning valet parking in the Fullerton lot to ease pressures during construction of the Crescent parking deck.
Why stop at valet parking, though? Why not concierge service for the whole town? And, um, neighboring towns too? Joe? Ed? Could you pick up our dry-cleaning? We're kind of rushed today, and ...
