...serving up your daily dish.

It has come to our attention that the restaurant and shopping district on Walnut Street in Montclair is being called (well by some people) WOHO ... as in SOHO. Nevermind that SOHO stands for South of Houston, and WOHO stands for West of .... um.... Nevermind. WOHO has that urban-chic all-cap SOHO TRIBECA DUMBO cache.
Why that's even more pretentious than calling an online magazine Barista! Or is it?
Dear reader, instead of our usual multiple-choice Sunday poll, we're asking you to pull out your blue book and write an essay based on the italicized question above. Press that comment button and defend your answer in 100 words or less. The winner gets the famous Barista latte mug.

I guess they figured WOHO is classier that actually using the beginning of Walnut to make WAHOO. I reject the entire concept, except for the Playful Planter - that is my kind of thing.

Passing through "WOHO", I've noticed that semi-new sushi place on the corner of Walnut and Pine (I think). Anyone tried? Any good?

This is an easy one.
Either "NoBlo" for North of Bloomfield (Avenue) or
"WeBlo" for West of Bloomfield (the Township)
Think how neat it would be to suggest to your date that you would like to go out to drinks & dinner tonight to WeBlo (if you're feeling lucky) or to NoBlo (if you're feeling unlucky)
They are both geographically accurate and roll off the tongue (probably a bad choice of words here)
