Update... Today was Day 2 -- still no sign of the #13 high school bus. Kids were left in the soaking rain on Wednesday morning, and were abandoned again this morning. Though they managed to send a bus yesterday afternoon, the kids were left stranded after school today. Hey, I have no problem driving my kids to school, but the state statute mandates the district transport them due to the distance. In lieu of that, they can pay me the $750/year/child (like they do for private school families) and I'll happily drive them myself. I drove a bunch yesterday and today and have advised the district I am awaiting my reimbursement check. Anyone think they'll pay up?
