The latest in Montclair lawn fashion: green ribbons to support the preservation of the Marlboro Inn.

Wasn't it sold and bought all above board?
Isn't the developer going to comply with existing zoning laws??
Why don't the preservationists get together and try to save something that's actually *for sale* and make *it* a "historic landmark" before a developer buys it legally?

I am SO with you! The Marlboro Inn is well on its way to becoming the next Hahne's building. Townspeople clearly didn't support this aging structure enough to allow its owners to turn a profit. Better a handsome, thriving community on the site than a dozen years of ridiculous legal manoeuvring.
