Major Structure Fire - Lincoln Street Closed
UPDATE: as of 9:07pm, Lincoln Street has re-opened
There was a major structure fire this evening at the corner of Douglas Road and Lincoln Street in Glen Ridge, near the Monclair Border. Two residents were evacuated safely, one firefighter was treated at the scene for smoke-inhalation and taken to Mountainside Hospital for observation. 
According to Glen Ridge Deputy Administrator Michael Zichelli, two Montclair fire trucks were on the scene within two minutes of the call to 911, and were able to knock down the fire quickly. Additional Trucks from the Montclair Fire Department and the Bloomfield Fire Department also responded and helped secure the site. Authorities expect Lincoln Street to be closed until 9pm tonight.
