Remember this new house on Grove? In fact, commenters had lots to say about it. Situated on a 76 X 150 lot, it did sell, this month, for $1,190,000.
Meanwhile, Cobble Court, (below, at 196 Upper Mountain), is still on the market. Unlike other homes dramatically slashing prices, this grande dame just keeps going up and up.
The latest asking price for the manor home is $4,900,000 (up from the last increase of $4,490,000). When it was first listed, you could have snapped it up for $3,999,999. Boy, those were the days. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the closing price of that other $4 million dollar home, expected to close in August. Stay tuned...

Heller won't close until August?!?!? The sign came down months ago, why a delay of nearly a year?? I would have bought it if they were going to give me a year to buy the winning Lotto ticket..

Wow, that's a lot of coin to spend on a house only to have a Decamp bus rattle your teeth every morning.

I've managed to save up roughly $57135 in my bank account, but I'm not sure if I should buy a house or not. Do you think the market is stable or do you think that home prices will decrease by a lot?
